I am Son Seyhak, owner of Morodok Ceramic (2015), Cambodia. Morodok produces stoneware for the home that is hand-thrown or made with simple moulds and hand-finished using slips and glazes. I spent my childhood surrounded by clay because my birthplace and my family are well-known for pottery.

Our 15 craftsmen are very skilled and work in an open workplace, allowing fresh air and natural light in. We make sure we work in a safe and healthy way and that payment helps us feed the family. And so, most staff have been with me for long. I like to design products inspired by Khmer culture and to experiment with glazes.

Morodok does customized collections with suitable volumes for retailers in Europe.
